Beware! I highly recommend people avoid Budget/Avis in general but especially stay away from Sicilian locations specifically. At best the staff is negligent, at worst they are downright dishonest. I confirmed the full price of my rental twice with the representative prior to signing my rental agreement at pickup. After dropping off, an additional 70 surcharge was charged to my card. They also charged me 15 for fuel despite my returning the car with a full tank of gas and providing the customer service representative with the receipt from the refill. It took 4 weeks and countless emails to get the fuel charge reimbursed and they are still refusing to refund the unauthorized surcharge. They “apologize that the agent mistakenly omitted the charge from the rental agreement but are unable to waive it”. Ultimately what this means is Avis/budget is going to have you agree to a rental price then charge you whatever it wants regardless of the initial agreement you sign. Do yourself a favor and go with any of the other rental agencies.

Pessimo! SOTTO LO ZERO . AUTO PRENOTATA ! Mai arrivata ! ( HO ANCHE IL MESSAGGIO DI CONFERMA ) arrivata in sede l'auto non c'era.. mi viene risposto che se la voglio lunedì sarebbe stata disponibile. LA PRIMA E ULTIMA VOLTA DA AVIS RAGUSA.
Abbiamo prenotato, tramite rentalcars, con avis una peugeot 208. La macchina al momento della consegna era subito pronta e ben tenuta. L'unica nota negativa è stato il comportamento dell'operatore con cui abbiamo fatto la pratica del ritiro. Ha insistito in maniera maleducata e arrogante per farci acquistare una polizza assicurativa aggiuntiva di 34 euro al giorno malgrado gli avessi detto che avevamo già stipulato una polizza di copertura completa con rentalcars e che questa rimborsava anche eventuali franchige in caso di furto o danno. Ci sta che debbano vendere anche i loro prodotti, ma dovrebbero farlo in maniera sicuramente migliore (senza cercare di far passare per idioti i cliente) e soprattutto a prezzi più modici (220 euro circa per una settimana considerando che si tratta di una 208 che ci è costata 110 euro di noleggio).....
Non è il massimo. Ma per emergenze va bene.
