Grill broken after an engine rebuild. Injectors persistently leaking diesel (almost like they’re different). Gearbox went in fine and came out with a faulty second gear (suspected to be a synchro) Original quote was 1400 final bill was 2600. AVOID

I own a Mercedes A180 (A class) and unfortunately my engine blew up. I discovered GB engines online and they were able to sort out my car in good time. These guys built my engine on my bmw 330d auto m sport. Always kept in touch, no problems if needed to contact them always on the ball. Very quick turn around at best price possible. Will be glad to use them again if need. Even got my car collect as wasn't able to drive as was 4 hours away. Couldn't thank these guys enough. Even gave it a local wash before collection. I had a knocking issue with my BMW 320i and was advised by my mechanic to get the engine replaced or rebuilt. I then started looking for a garage to repair the car. I came across this company that rebuilds engines in Rainham. I contacted them. They assured me that the job will be done and all damaged parts in the engine will be changed and this all comes with 12 months warranty at an agreed price of 1400 . I arranged for the car to be taken to them. The job took 2 weeks. Upon the collection of the car, 5 minutes after driving it there was stuttering, I then drove back to the garage. They then told me it was the injectors. Up until today, I spent over 1500 and still no joy the car is still not right. I attempted to change the 4 injectors and 4 new coil packs and several sensors but the problem still carried on. I took the car to a BMW specialist today, where they did a compression test, and realised there was no power in piston 4. This shouldn’t not have been the case
picked up my car replaced everything that needed doing bar one thing that i wasnt informed of however told they would change when i next come down that way. very pleased good customer service and i will use them again. reccomend to others for engine work 100%

The timing belt of my 2017 Ford Galaxy slipped and ruined my engine in April '20. As I use the car for work I needed to find someone who can fix it quickly. A search on Google put me in touch with GB Engines and received a quote in about 30 mins what I was happy with. They arranged to pick my car up the following day and took it to their garage. I have been updated with photos as they received my car, took the engine out and about the job they was doing. When the car was taken apart and the full damage was shown they explained why certain things need to be replaced and what parts they can refurbish. On the 4th day my car was ready to go. To have an engine blown that is a very painful and costly experience. I have done nearly 9k since the refurb and with 2 oil service in between there's no problem with the job they done. I am happy to recommend them.
