In 1989 when Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh were still a single state, the area covered by Chhattisgarh did not have any tea taster & packager. Yes, you read it right there was no Tea Packaging company in our state. People often thought Tea as a commodity and did not know what they were consuming. Most of the market was dominated by few companies like Brook Bond which is now owned by HUL and command a huge market share. Tea is not a commodity, as their exist variety of tea and no two different tea gardens produce same quality of tea. By quality we mean aroma, taste and colour. Of course, but no one could not make thousands different quality of tea and sell into market, so we hand-picked the best possible Tea for the market demand. Rajshree Tea was our attempt to allow people experience different kind of tea available in the market. We are one oldest and largest Tea manufacturers of Chhattisgarh. But we did not settle just for tea. We went further and started vermicelli production in 2000, because most of it was hand-made and the tradition of making hand-made vermicelli was declining. Vermicelli production was our and the industry’s attempt to still enable people to consume Vermicelli. Only after 5 years of success in Vermicelli we started manufacturing Soap in 2005 and which was immediate hit in the market. Soap was made from pure Malaysian soap noodles. After another 10 years we started manufacturing Papad & Pasta. Which is still rapidly gaining market. Maybe next time you see this page and we would already be having another new product.
