The therapy I received here changed my life. I was receiving physical therapy from another institution and obtained opinions from two different surgeons that I had moderate disc disease in my back. Their review of my MRI revealed to them surgery would not be an option because they both felt it would cause additional problems. I felt helpless as pain and restricted movement would remain in my future. My orthopedic surgeon recommended that I try aquatic therapy. The physical therapist I was working with at the time concurred and researched where he felt would be the best fit for me which was Aquatic Physical Therapy & Beyond. The therapy pool allowed me to accomplish functional movements to strengthen my core and allow me to increase my exercise regimen and no longer rely on pain relievers. I have worked with all their therapists and feel they are all top notch ! I will always be grateful that I found Aquatic Physical Therapy & Beyond.

I really appreciate all of the employees here. From first coming in the office and meeting Tiffany, the receptionist, to go in the other rooms to meet with the therapists you will have a very pleasant experience. They are all very polite and very caring. They are very friendly and care about the whole person. They are easy to talk to. I especially remember a time when I was emotionally spent and Jeff, one of the therapist, just listened to me and really encouraged me. That meant so much to me, to think he really cared. It certainly helped to brighten my day. They are all like that. They are attentitive and funny if you need a laugh. They also have a mascot, Wilson. Wilson is my pal in the pool, you will have to come and meet him. I would highly recommend that if you need therapy this is a great place to come.

I'm 66 and recently did a two month stint with the Census Bureau with overtime as a field enumerator. Up and down 3 flights of dozens of apartment building stairs blew out my right knee and lead to a Dr. saying - quit. Fortunately, I found APT&B - Aquatic Physical Therapy & Beyond from a personal referral. I'm confident that without APT&B I would still be walking in agony to this day. Geoff and the team (including graduating interns) were totally awesome. It was no nonsense 'hit the ground running' (in water) after their first evaluation at the onsite gym. I have been to other local PT offices but PT combined with the pool workouts cannot be beat. Yes - cannot. Moving otherwise painful joints with the aid of buoyancy accelerated my recovery like no where else. I now expect to be kite surfing this spring. Really, it's like I have a brand new knee and I'm back to my 3-5 mile walks with no pain no surgery. Geoff also gave me more than floor exercises to rebuild my knee. He also helped me to figure out how to get down and off the floor so I wouldn't re-injure my knee while I was healing cause I just started another physical job that required floor work. APT&B is busy but they don't keep you waiting. It's very clean with changing rooms, lockers and a shower if you need it. Right off 540 at Falls of Neuse you'd never know it's there at the back of a building. APT&B also has a pretty good playlist on Pandora to listen to as you crank out the reps. They can let you 'cool down' in the jetted hot tub if you need it. This place is all that and a bag of chips - You don't know what you're missing. I highly recommend them.

I have done physical therapy at a number of businesses and this is the best. The staff is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. I have never enjoyed PT anywhere as much as I did in their warm & inviting exercise pool. Everyone I encountered there made me feel welcomed and well cared for.

This is my 2nd time at Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond. I came back because the service is excellent and they have really helped me with increased mobility in my knee. The pool and the gym exercises were challenging but, they paid off in that I am walking so much better than when I arrived. Ned and Jeff were my primary therapists but, all the staff is great and they know what they are doing. Kudos to Eliza and the front desk team who arranged my appointments and checked on my billing with the insurance company. One extra bonus is the other patients, they were great to interact with while receiving treatment. If you want quality therapy go to Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond.
