Capital Stair was a real life saver! We hired another company to come in and fix our 50 year old stair railings that were out of code and spaced far enough for my 2 year old to slip through. But, they came in and made a complete mess of the situation. The measurements were all off, everything was crooked, and it was an awful, sloppy job. They came back to fix it, and they made it even worse! Then they just left us hanging. I called Wally at Capital out of the blue and he came over and looked at the stairs and said, no problem! He and his guys completely fixed the stairs and built them back exactly as we wanted them in half the time it took those other people to mess it all up! I wish I'd called Capital first. I can't describe how happy I am with their work, they are fast, they responded instantly to any questions, and they walked me through every part of how it was going to work. So, so happy! I highly recommend them!

I heartily recommend Capital Stair! We had our stairs renovated recently, and in my 30 years of home ownership across multiple homes, I have NEVER had so much 'bang for the buck' in an upgrade/fix as this. My handrailings and spindles were wobbly, the spindles were falling out, there were multiple issues with how the railing had been crafted - in a 17 year old house. The changes that Capital Stair made are amazing and cost effective!
Being new to stair remodeling and wood projects in general has been overwhelming. Wally has been very patient o help achieve our vision. The woodwork quality is very good and we are excited for the finished product!
Wally and Capital Stair Makeover is awesome! Wally renovated our 20 year old stair case in 2015. It just occurred to me this new staircase is 4 years old and looks just as great as the day Wally finished it. That's craftsmanship. His pricing is affordable and as I can recall his quote was very no nonsense. The fact is price is what you pay, value is what you get. Capital Stair Makeover converted my stars from carpet to wood and did a fantastic job! The attention to detail was superb. Wally took great pains to make sure that the stain on the stair treads was a perfect match to the existing floor. The crew is very professional - always showed up right on time, and did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves. I highly recommend their work!
