This place is well proportioned for what you pay. Nothing elegant and fancy, but clean and comfortable. Rooms are quite large with a simple furniture. Breakfast is complementary and very basic, but it works just fine. It's an old structure in a good location close to downtown.

Given us a good size room. A big tree was outside our window, so it's a good view. Good distance from the city center. Hallways could have been cleaner and wish the walls were thicker and noise proof. If you just need a decent place to crash at night, it's not a bad deal for the price.

Hotel goers beware - Ended up not staying the night since the rooms had a myriad of problems. Room one smelled like cigarettes strongly and was missing burners on a stove. Room two was still being made an hour after their scheduled check in time. Room three had a hole punched through the bathroom door - and apparently this was known. At that point rather than try again I was told all rooms had at least something wrong with them. At least they were able to return my money promptly. Went to the red roof inn nearby instead and had a flawless stay.

The upside is, the ladies working the front desk (I've met 3 so far) are all really nice, professional & helpful. The shower was great (water pressure & temperature). The bad side is, it is an old building, needs repairs/replacements. Room was not very clean (several hairs on bathroom floor and on towel, black shoe print on tile, etc.) Fridge made a lot of noise. Holes in the blanket. Walls in bathroom peeling. I'm used to staying in a bit nicer hotel. So, maybe I'm a bit more picky than some travelers. We wanted to save a little money on hotel this trip but now I really feel it would have been worth it to spend more.

The Days Inn is located close enough to downtown that we used scooters and Ubers to get there and back. Check in and out was quick and easy. They take the make and model of your car upon check in, I presume because the lot is towing enforced. The room was nice enough considering the low price. The bed was uncomfortable, and left my SO with back pain. For anyone looking for a cheap place to stay overnight in Downtown Raleigh with free parking, I'd recommend the Days Inn so long as he is willing to risk waking up with a stiff back.

The hotel was fine only because I needed a last minute place to crash for 7 hours after a cancelled flight. The hallways were dirty and rooms were super small. The bathroom had broken trim around the mirror. I also reserved a 1 king bed room, but got a 2 queen bed room. Again, for me, none of this mattered because I just needed to sleep and leave. I couldn't find anyone at checkout, which was odd. I can't attest to the breakfast or any other amenities because I didn't use them. I did notice there we're almost no available outlets in the room so I had to unplug a floor lamp to charge my phone on the floor next to the bed. If you are looking for a cheap bed... Here it is. If you are looking for a nice, clean place to stay for a few days, I'd keep looking.

Bathrooms were overall good and rooms weren't terrible. The service was exceptional. For the price you pay this hotel delivers. Smell wasn't amazing but was livable! Overall decent.

No frills but the price was right. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was a 10 minute walk to restaurant and bars. For the price, that's all I was asking for. Totally acceptable place to stay as long as you keep your expectations in check. No gym, vending machines didn't work, wifi was not fast, etc. None of the things I needed for my 2 night stay.
