Overall this is a great place. The woman that was bartending was very nice and attentive to us. The only reason I gave it 4 starts is that the tables need work done to them.
What an awesome alternative to the pool hall near campus! Wasn't slam packed with kids, the tables are in good condition. The overall atmosphere was laid back and fun, this bar doesn't take itself too seriously. (Think a bit brighter lights and a more casual environment.) Plus I think the pool prices are prorated (unless my guy just rang me up wrong haha) either way I had a great time there and look forward to going back.
Really liked this place for what it is - a low key, friendly, and unpretentious spot to have a drink and hang out with friends. Hubs and I went there for a few hours on a Friday and played about 5 rounds of pool and had a few beers. Nice to have a divey, but clean place to chill that doesn't involve fighting for parking downtown or Hillsborough St.
Great open night mike with April Anders listening to local music makers. Every Monday night.
