If you have any mental health issues do not go to this clinic. Talking to the psychiatrist is like talking to a robot. When you try to call and ask a question you either get transferred and hung up on or they say they don’t have an answer. You’ll have better luck talking to a dog about your issues compared to talking to anyone in this clinic.

Will somebody please fix the phone lines at this place. Usually when somebody calls a mental health clinic you are not hung up on, here it is the opposite. At a normal mental health clinic they ask you how you are doing, at Raleigh 2 they DO NOT CARE. At a normal mental health clinic they try and console you if you are frustrated, but here they yell at you if you are asking for a simple task like getting a prescription refilled. This is a broken system and the people working for this clinic are a part of the problem. This establishment and its nursing staff deserve negative stars.

This is the absolute worst VA facility next to the main hospital in Durham. I have repeatedly been gaffed off by the staff when it comes to matters of mental health issues and getting issues taken care of with my medication. A nurse named Jesse in particular has acted terribly unprofessional the multiple times that I have called the facility, acting as if he isn’t dealing with patients with mental health issues. Nobody cares about the problems that you are experiencing, they only care about passing your problem along to somebody else until the cycle repeats again. I ordered my prescription to be refilled 1 week ago today, and I still do not have my prescription that alters my brain chemistry. Make no mistake; these individuals do not care about you and do not care about your mental health.

I will eternally give 5 stars to any place that provides free or nearly free health insurance.
