Its gonna be a bit difficult for our grandparents to make it to the top, its very spacious and all can have a good time, enjoy the view, n relax. Please stop trashing the place with plastic waste in there...there are waste bins use it

Ramakkalmed is a hill station situated in Idukki district. Ramakkalmed stands tall in the Western ghats at a height of 1100 m above sea level. It offers you the panoramic view of nature and the beautiful crop fields of Tamilnadu. You can trek to the mountain opposite of kuravan kurathi hill, but careful. Dangerous cliff and suicide points on the trekking trail. You can see hundreds of birds flying over your head. It is also suitable for bird watchers. The place is always windy you can see wind mills on both Kerala and Tamilnadu. Nearest town is Thookkupalam (5km) which is situated in Kumali - Munnar state highway. Visiting time is scheduled between 8:30 in the morning to 7 in the evening. The entrance fee to kuravan kurathi hill is 10 for adult and 5 for children. Nearest attraction include Tortoise Rock and Kuruvikkanam Wind farm which is located 2km and 5 km from Ramakkalmed respectively.
Very good place for viewing sun set and for spending evening time.
