I recently went to a wedding at this Gurdwara and as you enter they check your temperature and ask you to sign in. The Gurdwara is very thorough in their processes to keep Covid at bay and in the Dharbar Sahib (main hall) they have allocated spaces for worshippers to sit to keep their distance. What was important was that after the Anand Karaj they also explained the meaning of the 4 lava in English to help everyone understand which was very useful for everyone.

Beautiful local Gurdwara which is located in the heart of east London! The Gurdwara has a fantastic standing history and is continuously moving forward using an open minded perspective in bringing the Sikh community together and educating others with many amazing programmes throughout the year!
Good clean well managed gurudwara to visit even in pendamic covid time.
The gurdwara looked like a council, very old and dated despite the amount of money they get each week from weddings and other events they still not willing to spend a penny to renovate the Gurdwara. As you walk in, right in front of you there's the langar hall. When you go upstairs there's three diwans. The time I walked in, there were two weddings happening in each diwan. The third one wasn't in use at that moment of time. I really believe that the whole gurdwara needs refurbishment and it needs a renovation. It didn't feel like I was walking in a Gurdwara, felt more like a council and the whole experience was very cold.
Amazing Gurdwara, which is welcoming and offers langar (free) food to all and is willing to help educate people from all different backgrounds!
