This is the place to go. The management and staff are smart, warm and on the ball. They will keep you safe. Nice and firm with idiots - not listening to protocol - without being rude. The Belle View has atmosphere and character and it is clean, relaxed, friendly. It is also well spaced for Covid social distancing. And you can book if you need to be sure of getting a table. And the view is just divine.

Great that we were able to at last get a San Miguel! The meal(chicken curry) was lovely, cooked well and hot. Thank you for a great evening.Angela and Graham Davies.
Arrived for our meal booked table for 6 and given our menus. Went and bought our drinks and placed our food orders . Sat and waited for our meals , people who arrived after us received their meals before us ??? Food arrived generous portions but bacon on the Belle beef burger was hard and dry , otherwise no complaints with that choice . Cod and chips well mostly hake and a tiny piece of cod . Child’s cod and chips was awful batter burnt and fish was so tiny and hard . Grandson not amused . We wanted to order desserts but one hours wait which was when they were closing . Staff and atmosphere fabulous just tiny faults , we will visit here again soon. Most importantly Covid -19 rules at this pub were taken seriously phone numbers and names where required before entering pub garden and marked out accordingly sanitizer available.
Great place for a lunch when hiking! Well adapted to corona virus restrictions. All clean and well distanced! Great pizza with crunchy dough and innovative tastes! Stunning views!
We as a couple had our first visit out and went to the Belle Vue Tavern for lunch. We had a table upstairs with lovely views though the sun was not shining. I chose fish pie which was the best I have ever eaten. Absolutely delicious. My husband had cod and hand maid chips and was excellent. Our order was taken by Phoebe who was most friendly and attentive. Another waitress brought our food and we were well looked after. Everything was kept according to Government rules and furniture was cleansed after each customer left. Can't wait to go back again. BILL AND CELIA VANT X
