5* plus review; I have lived at the Garden Flat at 23 South Eastern Road for just over a year & Gerard has been a fantastic landlord; he's dealt with any query extremely quickly and efficiently and it has been a pleasure to have lived there in nice, safe & secure surroundings. A highly recommended landlord and lovely place to live.

Well where do we start, I wanted to rent a self catering room for nighty pound for the week which is all I wanted to stay for. All was going well till a small misunderstanding over booking in. When I thought the time we agreed was a time when I could book in from not a specific appointment time. He phoned me when I was half hour late I apologized and said I would be half hour. I got to the accommodation and phoned to say I arrived that is when he decided to give me a lecture on punctuality like I was five that went on for longer than I would like but I bit my tounge dew to the cheapness of the room and apologized for the mistake. On his arrival he started the lecture again and again I explain the mistake and apologize. He takes me to the room and what can I say you get your moneys worth for 90 bit a fire hazard to be honest but it was clean and secure and that's all I needed so I agree to take the room. We go down to some workshop to do the paperwork and pay, I give him the money he asked me for ID I gave him my bank card he wasn't happy with that even tho it has been fine for every other place iv stayed the last week I don't drive and don't carry my passport round the county I'm British don't think I should have to. But I tried being flexible I offered a second card and even found my mouldy old birth certificate in my wallet, still no Good so I offer a deposit in cash but that was still not enough That's when I lost my temper I admit I should of bit my tounge and walked out but I told him what I thought of him his attitude and his accommodation which he did not like that much. I wasn't intimidated when he came charging at me to shout and point right in my face like a school boy in the playground but you can be scared
