Our local park just up from the cliffs. A bit muddy today from all the rain but drying up in the sun and breeze. Nice to see lots of families with young children and dogs running about enjoying the winter sun. Lots of birds singing and challenging each other for territory for the coming breeding season.

King George vi park will always hold a special place in my heart as I grew up next to this park. From a visitors perspective it is a very relaxing park to take your family and friends. It is also very good if you have young children as there is plenty of activity in the playground for them to spend their relentless energy on. When the weather is warmer/brighter there is also a small shop to purchase ice creams and soft drinks from to quench your families thirst or grumbling bellies. Enjoyed best in summer.

Shame about the cyclists. Nearly got run over. And abused by rider. The next one that does that will get his legs broken

Beautiful park, ideal for a picnic. Dogs love the park too, and there's a lovely playground for kids. The Italian conservatory is wonderful.
