Always like this Pub on my visits to Ramsgate...sadly Sunday Roast not available right now due to Covid restrictions ( hope I got that right), Fully social distancing drinking now and excellent service by the Barman (owner I think) who must qualify for the quickest server in Ramsgate and whilst wearing safety face gear.Thank you for your warm welcome and damn fine service Sir and for keeping it safe

The wife and I are in the process of buying a spot in Ramsgate so very chuffed to find this gem of a pub. Very nice inside. Local artists on the wall and pleasant atmosphere. Sun streaming through the big corner room windows probably didn't hurt. White bait portion size immense but the actual fishies probably a tad too big (freaked the Mrs out a bit). Sunday lamb roast bang on. Lots of tasty veg. Crucially not overcooked. Lamb yum with good gravy portion. Defos go back.
Large pub with helpful staff. We went there shortly after the lockdown rules changed so only table service and it was a bit confused trying to hear the drink options being listed through a face mask. Not anyone's fault just teething issues maybe a couple of chalk boards with the main options in might help.
Quiet, pleasant, comfortable place for a drink, nice simple wooden decor. Great views out across the harbour. The restaurant is currently closed due to C19 ...
Great views from the front room overlooking the English channel, and for the ship spotters the working part of Ramsgate harbour. Not a great selection of vegetarian and no vegan, which was a bit disappointing. However can't fault my veggie burger.
