Dear Waitrose , I'm writing on behalf of my neighbour who does not have access to the internet after talking with her today. Mrs Kemp is an elderly lady who was wanting to order flowers for her 90 year old sister in cornwall. We live in ramsgate and she was hoping to do this over the phone and was given the customer care phoneline by the store, but was told that payment could not be taken over the phone as the call centre was home based. She was told to call back to the store if she needed any more help with anything and they would help if they could. Mrs Kemp decided to give the store a call back and say she had no luck due to the payment issue. The very kind lady who answered the phone , offered to do some searching on the internet on her behalf as she had no way of finding details of a florist in cornwall. Shortly later she recieved a call back with details of a florist she could use , phone details and rough price estimates and an example of a couple of bouquets she could choose. She had also spoken to the florist and explained Mrs Kemps tricky situation on her behalf. Her sister recieved flowers today and was over the moon! Mrs Kemp felt looked after and it made her week ! She lives alone for the past few years and felt lonely until now. She has since called back twice to the shop to ask a couple of questions about a few items as another neigbbour is doing her shopping for her during this lockdown.Once again she is met with some laughter and reassurance. So I promised I would give this review on her behalf. Thankyou very much to Jill on the customer service desk for making a lady very happy this week! Wonderful store wonderful staff! A real credit to a small town like ramsgate.
I love shopping in Waitrose, the staff are so helpful. The fish, meat and delicatessen are always displayed really well. The lady on the end checkout was really friendly and efficient.
My local friendly efficient store,from our lovely man who sees us in to the young man at the checkout.Always feel safe and find it hard to pass by without looking in
A nice branch to go into and buy a pint of pint ....eggs ..and yogurt. No wait....security on the door.
