The food was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and the restaurant is only a few minutes from home. The home fries are great. The sirloin steak was a little overdone but to expect perfection from anything is insanity. My visit here was great. Best breakfast I have had in a long time

Family restaurant, since 1949,serving home cooked food. Cute and clean with several rooms with tables. There is a counter with stools, booths and tables. Small gift shop upon entering on one side. We were greeted right away by friendly staff and could choose where we wanted to sit. We had one of the specials from the menu...stuffed chicken breast with homemade filling and mashed potatoes. Very tasty but chicken was a little on the dry side. We were offered a complimentary jello salad which was a slice of jello with some kind of grated fruit...There is a salad bar which you have the option to substitute for an upcharge instead of a side. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered their chocolate cake with peanut butter icing which they were out of,so we were offered cupcakes instead. Wrong dessert ....very dry. All in all....not a bad little place to eat.... ..
It's got a country cupboard kinda vibe, Mixed with some rando diner and a Hosses. It's pretty good though. I admit I accidentally knocked a sign down and the nail with it. I am sorry.
Very nice restaurant. Food was delicious. Wait staff was friendly and on top of things. Definitely will return
Outstanding restaurant! I stumbled upon it as I was passing by on my way home from a business trip. Waitress was awesome. So hard to decide what to have to eat because of diverse menu. I decided on the beef brisket sandwich and was not disappointed! It was tender, smoky-flavored & very delicious. The home made fries were outstanding. I also ordered a small side salad that was perfect. I didn't make time to take picture of the full menu, but got pics of their dessert menu. I had slice of pie before I left but took home some homemade tapioca for later. Both were very good. I would highly recommend this place for locals or travelers. I will mention they had a sign inside that it was family owned for 70 years and that probably means a lot. It was obvious they take pride in running this excellent eatery.
