We get water, so that’s good. The people who check the water meters are cool. As others have mentioned, dealing with their customer service quickly turns into a farce.

Received a bill for over 12,000 after our normal bill is a fraction. As it turns out, the month prior it just so happens that they had a new meter installed at my house. Interesting! When I asked to speak to a manager several times, I never received a call back and was told by the receptionist that they were a “for profit” company and that their meters cannot ever be wrong, so I had no option but to pay or they’d turn off my water. Horrible! Twelve thousand dollars worth of water in 2 months!! I mean, my home would LITERALLY be under water with two Olympic swimming pools worth of water on top of it. But they see no problem billing that to me as if it’s totally normal.
No help at all. I am very disapointed. When you call they talk down to you. I am sorry I do not have a gardner, or, like one \lady\ asked, o maintenance crew?\ Gosh. I did not know that was a requirement to live here. Keep hiking up my bill. I guess I deserve it. Right? Update. Because I do not understand the issue they sent a WONDERFUL field supervisor out to explain the problem to me. Kudos to him!! After that I felt a little better knowing what it was and what to do. But what I can't understand is not getting a new smart meter. This is a very important upgrade and I am now singled out. I have to find a trustworthy plumber to do this but finances and trust issues will take awhile. I am a little sad that I am the only one that got passed up because of a small leak. Oh well. Privileged comes before trying hard to survive. I miss my late husband:((
