Delicious (and HUGE) vegan ice cream made with fresh fruit. Also yummy vegan cake. Super cool art in the cafe, worth doing a detour to Rawene for!
Beautiful cafe and art gallery, tasty chicken and bacon panini, savoury scone and chocolate cake. Also that was the best iced mocha that I’ve had in NZ The gallery is really amazing with many articles to buy. The service is great and kind.
After a walk around Rawene decided to stop on for a coffee. Really lovely cafe, great decor, friendly staff, and great coffee. Tried their kumera cake and it was big enough for two, served with yogurt, bush honey and little flower, was absolutely delicious! The art gallery in the same building was interesting and beautifully presented. Plus a second hand book shop completed the experience. Great place to stop and wait for the Narrow car ferry.
Fabulous food but very large portions, Cafe is set in a very interesting art gallery. Lovely place to have a meal looking out over the harbour
Cosy atmosphere, fancy art, staff are wonderful and the sweet chai tea is so delish
Although the coffee was good the food was only average and service very slow
We ordered two salads and a burger. Tasty and amazing value for money! Great views, nice staff and good coffee.
