Reas wood is worth a trip to. Bring your dog as they will enjoy the walk along the side of Lough Neagh. I grew up in this area and with the new Boathouse restaurant and a takeaway coffee shop beside you you will not be short of a welcome cuppa. There is also a nice walk along the sixmile River leading you to Antrim Castle Gardens. Enjoy.

Such a pretty little area, quite hidden but definitely worth it. It was amazing walk around and a popular area as there was a few cars that had just come to watch the sunset. Shame the carpark closes at half nine at night as I could of stayed another 20 minutes happily. There was quite a few swans paddling about and a little cafe but it was shut that late at night
Beautiful well maintained path. There are some small sandy beaches along the path. Brilliant views along the shore. I use a rollator and was able to manage . We did not walk it all. It is good for dog walking .
It looks like the paths have been improved since we last visited. Lovely glimpses of Lough Neagh through the trees.
Great for walking dogs, lots of areas for letting them off lead.
