For almost 20 years, Reckless has been a top record provider for me. You guys are great at fulfilling online orders. Also, your staff and inventory make a dangerous combination. Having worked in a record store myself, I’m critical though constructive and will pay credit where it’s due. This shop is exemplary. Reckless routinely comes through with rare used stuff and are scarily prompt to tell you it’s in. They’ve also held meaningful records for me on birthdays...It’s small but that service goes a long way. Shouts out to Becky! Lastly, I appreciate the rearrangement of this location. It’s great. I have to say, this place does not disappoint, for the most part. The sales staff is pretty knowledgable. The selection is right up there. The prices are fair. It's one of my regular stops when I'm in the area. The store is easy to navigate. It's usually pretty well organized. They offer plenty of 1 bargains. Parking is a nightmare as this is Wicker Park, but if you find a legal spot, take it and plan on spending some time going through this establishment. I've been to both side of this shared pond record store and they just set the standards for what a record store should be.

Reckless is a great place to shop for your music. They sell a lot of new records cheaper than you'll find them online, they have a good selection, and they have plenty of inexpensive used records too. They also treat their customers well. I've returned defective records here with no issues, including one used record that they were nice enough to find another copy of for me. Be respectful to the people working here, and you can expect that they will treat you with respect as well.

6.3.2019 The little town I live in doesn't have a used CD store, so when I saw this place, I just had to stop by. I am so happy to see records are not gone for good yet.
