Last night we decided to go to Pho Le, since we love Vietnamese food. At least we thought we did. The sauce on my lemongrass chicken tasted it was made of Skippy peanut butter. My plate looked like a big mess, chicken soaked in sauce that had no traits of lemongrass or flavor of lemongrass. I ordered crispy noodles and got a small bowl of white rice instead, than I reminded the owner who also waits tables, and she brought me white rice noodles instead. Then for the third time I told her I ordered crispy noodles, and she responded "if I want crispy noodles I have to say crispy noodles" in a rude way, which I did in the first time I placed my order. The other waitress looked annoyed serving customers and wouldn't crack a smile. We waited almost 45 minutes for the appetizer Saigon crepe, which had nothing to do with Vietnamese food. It was flavorless and ridiculous looking. We will never go back, food is disgusting, if you know what authentic food from Vietnam taste and look like.
I live in Red Bank and what a great little restaurant to have in town. Food is terrific and the owners very nice and accommodating. If you go on a Friday or Saturday it can be a bit of a crazy place since the place is small and you may have to wait for a table and then for your food. It does seem that on these busy nights that the place could probably use more help. That aside the food is fantastic. Every new dish I try I love.....planing on going there tonight actually as I type this review.
This place is amazing they have such variety of fresh Vietnamese cuisine. They have a special lunch menu as well. We always come back because of its foos & it's such a mellow atmosphere. The food is delicious! Plus the owners are always around and super friendly.
I liked this place. I'd go again to explore the menu. I enjoyed their bubble tea and especially their spring rolls! You gotta try these spring rolls they are worth trying this place! My date had beef pho and was content, I got chicken and it was a very big portion for me. I couldn't eat it all. Great place and I had a fun time trying this place out. I plan to come here again!
Very good Vietnamese food and reasonable. BYO. Vietnamese crepe and seafood soup are my favorites. Nice selection. A little loud but great for dinner.
Best Vietnamese I've ever had. The vegetarian spring rolls with peanut sauce and chicken Pho are the best
The food is not authentic at all. The service is terrible. The woman who served us wore a face that we couldn't enjoy the food. Too bad! Till 2 stars because the other man who didn't serve us tried his best to make us happy.
