This is my favourite public pool ever. It's pretty quiet, super non stressful, very chill. The warm pool doubles as a kiddie pool but it's still deep enough to actually swim in, which is nice. The diving tank is awesome, i just always happen to have my LO with me. Life guards are nice people too.

The facility itself is okay, though I do find the water here to have more chlorine than other pools. The dive tank is fun, and while I was initially disappointed at the lack of a hot tub, I was glad to see that they have a warm pool. The kid friendly warm pool is a great setup for my daughter. My reason for giving the place such a low rating, in spite of enjoying my time here, is as follows: I had taken a course here which required me to be at the pool early in the morning. The lockers take quarters instead of either tokens, or renting a padlock from the desk. When I went to the desk to get change, there was nobody there, and the gate was even pulled down! Not wanting to lose anything valuable, I had no choice but to bring my keys and wallet along with me. Unfortunately as it turned out, I was destined to lose something here. My class ran a little late, and after finishing up, I headed back to the change room as I had left my shoes in there. I saw they were gone. I thought "Not a big deal, I'm sure they just picked them up while cleaning. I imagine they are just sitting behind the desk." I was locked in the change room, had to undo a deadbolt, but made my way to the desk. To my dismay, the gate was down, and nobody was around. I then tried to go back into the pool to see if my instructor could help me find my shoes, but the change room would not open back up. Out of options, I had to walk quite a distance to the east parking lot wearing nothing but a thin pair of socks. I really think this place needs to have a lost and found box placed in a public area for when this sort of situation arises (I imagine I am not the first person who has had this experience). I understand there's a risk of theft, but it would have been nice to just be able to grab my shoes and leave. I do not live in Red Deer so if the facility still has my shoes coming in to get them will be a major inconvenience.
Great pool for lane swim. Wish they had better hours. 6 lanes here as opposed to Rec Center which only has 5.
The pool is warm compared to some pools. They also have toonie swim on Fridays which is nice.
Decent facilities. Men washroom is dated. Men lockers do not take own padlocks, only coins. Staff is very nice.
Good place to take young babies to swim as they have a VERY warm pool.
