I tried the Howey last year visiting my sister and it was awesome! My second experience was today ordering my sister food for a surprise Easter Dinner. We had wonderful experiences both times :)

Super yummy food and awesome people
Having to visit Red Lake I must stop in at The Howey for a great meal and the staff are friendly too. The ribs are a must have. I will be back again.
I have stayed here many times and its been good - no complaints. This has been a longer stay and it has been great. Room was clean and cozy - dated but still good. The owner (I believe) has been great and accomandating from the day I had mad reservation to the end of my stay. As well the restaurant was great - food was tasty drinks cold and service was amazing. Thank you for making my week a good one.
Best garlic bread in the western hemisphere. Also best Greek salad I've ever eaten. Also great wings, burgers, fish and chips... Daily drink specials. Check it out.
Place seems fairly good. The staff was very nice and the food is decent. There is an ok atmosphere and lots of TVs if you want to watch the game. They had a decent beer selection on tap. I had the TY burger with onion rings and it was well made. There are not a ton of options in Red Lake and this one is pretty good. I would give it more like a 3.5 or 3.75 stars if I could, but you can't. I would eat there again but if I never did I would be upset either.
Stayed here in the "Howey House" (which is a house split into Three suites) while working in Red Lake. For the length of time I was up here working it was great to have a House/Suite to stay in. It's well furnished and maintained and the Kitchenette kept costs down from having to eat out every night. The Restaurant at the Howey was a nice break from having to cook all the time too :). They have a great selection of Beers and the Steak Sandwich is phenomenal. Would recommend this establishment to anyone who's up in Red Lake for just a day or a month plus.
