I just wanted to leave a review about how Campbell & McDearmid have helped me. Since childhood I have had many issues related to reading and learning. I thought this was something I would have to learn to live with, however, when I became an adult, I was subsequently diagnosed with learning difficulties, including what I now know is visual stress or Irlen's syndrome. I was not able to read for long periods due to headaches and fatigue, and this impacted on my education, but since finding this practice all those issues are a thing of the past, and I can now read without discomfort. I will always be grateful for the care and kindness I have been given by Faye, especially when in the past that was sadly lacking from other opticians. Thank you!

Been going here since I was a child all the staff have always been lovely and helpful.
Thought it was lovely until my mum got slagged off on the phone by the receptionist. Would not recommend! Fuming by the response of the receptionist. We are the customers and we do not deserve this. Train your reception staff better campbells!!
I've been with other chain opticians and you just feel like they just want you in and out so they can sell you some frames. They've been looking after my eyes for 8 years now and even though I'm thinking of moving away from the area, I will be always travelling back here because the service is outstanding. These are the first opticians who have actually explained what is wrong with my eyes and helped me understand why one is more dominant than the other.
An independent optician offering that provides our family with excellent eye care using a combination of up-to-the-minute technology and good old fashioned customer service. From the minute you step through the door into the practice, you are put at ease by the friendly receptionist. My eye test was carried out in a friendly and professional manner by Faye. Faye is always patient during my eye exam and happy to answer any questions I may have. She is fab with children and puts nervous patients at ease. The best part of a visit to the opticians is choosing new frames from the amazing selection that Campbell & McDearmid stock.....they are smart, stylish, colourful and quirky!
