Nice place, nice pint, great people. All get up there and have a drink! Good parking outside too.
We booked a table on the morning for Saturday evening. On arrival we were told there was no booking and when we asked to speak to the manager he rudely told us she was not in. Obviously getting no where and frustrated we decided to leave, as we walked away my friend phoned the pub and was told that the manager was indeed in and that our booking was recorded. So we returned and approached the guy on the door again and was told the same thing, as well as this we also had a member of staff who was smoking on the front door gob off at us telling us they were full. The manager finally noticed us as the door opened and we explained and she confirmed our booking, we were directed to our table outside. One of many free tables that were available and were told that a member of staff would come and take our order. 30 mins later nothing and no one came and despite veing told that it was table service only could see other table returning from the bar with drinks. We decided to leave as this was ridiculous. Literally the worst experience at a pub i have ever had, with staff that dont know what they are doing. I have worked in pubs my entire working life and this is not how you run a pub. Avoid this circus at all costs. Never returning. I would vote lower than 1 star but unable to.
Outside space is fine toilets are shocking.
Great service, briliant range of drinks. The range of gin and rum is insane, peaky blinder rum . And anybody that goes must try the SHOT OF DOOM! Defo be back.
