If I could leave no stars I would. My disabled 17 year old son attended this laundrette on his own as an independent living task to do his own washing today. He attended with a 20 note and returned with 6.20 in his pocket, he had only used one machine and took his own laundry detergent. When he returned to collect his washing she charged him again and when he asked for a receipt following my advice as I thought that payment very steep (though he cannot read or do simple maths) she wrote that she had only taken 5.50 from him; which was not the case! My older son had to go with him to try and get his money back (which he did, following an abundance of excuses from the launderette attendant) after which my son was told never to return and the door was slammed in his face. As a note to that lady, I would like to say thank you for teaching my son a valuable lesson on how vile the world can be and how quickly people will try to manipulate and take from him knowing that he doesn't have full mental capacity. And please do not worry about him trying to attend your laundrette again as we have no intention of using your services but every intention of making sure people are aware of the 'service' they will receive from you. Unfortunately for you this was to become a regular occuance and my son would have made an excellent customer, though I am sure the next place he attends he will be more aware of what he needs to do to better protect himself from other potential vultures!
