I lived up North for 6 years and had to leave due to the lack of ability to protect my family legally. The first week I was here the Redlands department looked into the report I made about the harassment continuing here. They reinstilled my faith that some people are there to help us. Thank you

Due to my son, the policemen that have been to our house countless number of times have always been professional, courteous and kind. Even when provoked they were calm and professional. Thank you for your service.

I can never be grateful today for good and kind police men who checked on my fiancé living alone in his apartment. I have to ask help at wee hours of the day since I was not able to contact him for 8 hours. The dispatcher was courteous and helpful with my concerns and within 15 mins after I called, the police officer called me back and reassured everything's okay. Thank you and bless you for all your help.

I tried calling the Redlands Police Department last night, but there is almost no way to contact the police department with non-emergency calls. Almost every time I have tried, I've only reached a recording, and been on hold for ten minutes or more, then eventually cut off and had to try again. One time, a couple of years ago, I did get through to talk to some guy and he was rude. Cops finally showed up over an hour later, but it was too late and didn't matter anymore. ***************************** The next morning: This is a response to the answer (see below) from the Redlands Police Department to my original post. Their message appears to be a form letter. It provides the non-emergency number, which is the one I called. It then states that by pressing 1, you will be connected \immediately\ to a dispatcher. This is a blatant falsehood. I pressed 1 and was automatically put on hold. About every minute, a recorded voice reminded me that I was on hold. I waited about 10 minutes, then there was a click and a busy signal--I had been cut off. I called back on the non-emergency number, pressed 1 again, waited on hold, and the same thing happened. There was no way to contact the police department by telephone. Apparently they are closed evenings. So as a last resort I sent an email to their email address, which their website states is for emergencies. I wrote on-emergency message\ in the header to make sure nobody would get excited. I explained my non-emergency problem briefly, in plain language so that even a low-comprehension reader could understand. I have received no response, and as far as I know no action has been taken regarding the problem I contacted them about. As you can see below, however, they were quick to respond, with erroneous information, to my critical review here.
