Moved into student house. The room was full of issues. The wardrobe was damp, the radiator didn’t work and the mattress was broken. All in all after lots emails and telephone calls - the mattress and wardrobe was replaced. The mattress was new and so was the wardrobe. Took a while as a wardrobe part was “broken” - I got told by Redlet which was helpful though I did have to chase this up in order to hear about it. The radiator was another matter though. I reported it o the day I moved in and 3 weeks in it is not working and LEAKING. Redlet did send out a “plumber” to look at it but he actually made it LEAK but I wasn’t pleased about. The leaking got worse and the contractor made it leak less as the waited for a part to come in. After multiple emails and telephone calls, the radiator is hopefully getting fixed in a few days. I gave 3 stars as issues tend to get fixed though communication between Redlet and tenants NEEDS TO IMPROVE.

An utter joke, even for private tenants. Took over 6 months to sort out repairing our shower/bath despite not being able to use the bath (if we used the bath, the bathroom would have been flooded as we found out after trying to use a bath). Lied about contacting the landlord and ‘waiting to hear back from them’. Emails only tend to be replied to if the owner is copied in. The contractors they do use are total cowboys, one of which wanted to paint our bedroom wall at 9pm at night. Same person came back at a later date to look at a large draft through our doorframe-turned up at 7:30pm, when was meant to be there at 6pm. He then fitted tape too thick to be able to lock our door. Not once did they clean our upstairs windows (as part of the housing contract). Mid term inspection person never showed up, due at mid afternoon, called just after 4pm as no show on a Friday to find out what was happening and no answer, despite hours working until 5pm according to online. Waited in all afternoon/evening for them never to show up. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Awful company. Redlet skim money off the top and don't invest a penny into the properties they represent nor the students they 'support'. We were repeatedly lied to over a 24-month tenancy. Always paid our rent on time. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Far better letting companies in the area for students. / EDIT: I emailed Redlet as they requested below and heard no response about the issues I listed. If that isn't the epitome of it all?! Please don't waste your time with this agency
