Based in Oslo, Norway, the office has been involved in several projects with alternative usage of energy, hybrid ventilation systems, geothermal heating/cooling etc. The idea behind our approach is that the building industry (the 40%industry, as iti is called because of its huge CO2 footprint) has to be adapted to the challenges we are facing: climate change, oil depletion, unsustainable usage of resources, etc. Our projects try to find a local solution to each problem, involving communities, the first and the most important recipient of the built environment.
