Great little dive in the heart of Refugio tx.
This is the best restaurant in town, hands down. Very clean, excellent waitstaff, amazing cooks. EVERYTHING is homemade, right down to the kids steak fingers. I asked for my burger protein-style (wrapped in lettuce), even though it's not on the menu, and they enthusiastically obliged. My father-in-law was craving French toast during a breakfast visit, but it wasn't on the menu. They made it for him anyway. Even the desserts are homemade. What a gem we have in our quaint little town. Thank you, Mr. Toliver. Your restaurant and staff are fantastic!!!
Excellent food. Friendly people. Chicken fried steak was awesome. Great tea. Amazing fried Ocra. Perfect Mashed Potatoes.
