We came there in the dinner time by accident on our way from Bathala to Fatima and we did not regret. We ate there starters, soup, octopus, pasta vegetariana and desert. Vino da casa was fruity as I like. Set of starters was composed by the owner, each piece was delicious. Octopus was the best I have ever eaten. Pasta was also delicious. We had very limited time there due to 4 hours of driving left, but in our opinion this restaurant is a place where you stay for entire evening to taste real Portuguese kitchen, the best you can find. I promise to come back.

Had lunch today, Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was full when we arrived and had a big spread for lunch buffet including a table alone with around 12 traditional desserts. We ordered from the menu, had starters with bacon wrapped, stuffed mushrooms and baked cheese. Was served with a basket of freshly baked corn bread. I had the golden fish and my husband the octopus for main course with a great bottle of local white wine. Service was very attentive and good. Food was excellent.

Very good octopus dish. House wine was from local area and very good. The dessert Bolo de bolacha was also very good.
