ESAF, the Environmental and Social Agency for Financiers, was founded to provide innovative solutions for banks and other financial institutions (FIs) exposed to environmental, social (E&S) and related reputational risks. It supports banks, investors and companies on a mandate basis and builds up on this experience to develop technology-based solutions. The end goal is to maximise the positive environmental and social impact of the services provided by financial institutions. We do so by bridging gaps between the requirements of banks and investors, their leverage on their clients and the sustainability challenges faced by some of their clients. With our clients we may work on financings and transactions, challenging relationships, or for FIs exclusively: internal management systems and overall implementation support.
