Well done Black Horse. Thought you and the staff were doing a wonderful job to keep things Covid safe. Would have been nice if some of your polite reminders to diners at the door to wear their masks hadn’t been blatantly ignored but you can’t account for some right now! Food wise though the Sunday roast was great today. We had the beef, seconds of cauliflower cheese and kids chicken and chips. Everything was devoured. The beef was really tender, vegetables were all great and we washed down with a glass of red. Really nice to get out again and we’ll be there soon. Thanks again

What a great pub. Staff all super friendly, but not over the top. And the roast dinner was amazing. They were clearly on top of all the covid protocols, and we felt perfectly safe whilst in the pub. Thank you, we will be back!

I didn’t know pubs like this still existed. Especially in the age of Covid! The atmosphere was warm, cozy and festive, the service charming and the FOOD! Delicious pheasant sausages with truffles mash and I’m going to be dreaming about that pistachio soufflé with chocolate ice cream for weeks! Well done team. You made our lives a little brighter for one evening. Thank you!
A lovely restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, but lovely food and a great menu. Good cleaning routine between quests and screens between tables too. Very happy to recommend.
