This is a review of the office staff and not the doctor herself. I booked an appointment the beginning of November for January for our six year old daughter. They were on a two month wait which is understandable due to all the shutdowns this year, less patients in the office etc. Our daughter is NOT a new patient. I verified the date and time twice. I live by my calendar. We show up this morning to be told that our daughters appointment was yesterday. The primary number on my file was my old work number. Well, since COVID I am no longer at that number. Which was not verified at the time the appointment was made. I was also told that they tried calling me yesterday, day of appointment. The next offered appointment was for the 26th which was not convenient (have other medical appts) and then late February. No email follow up or anything. I am upset because our daughter is struggling with her skin this winter and she is 6! I would make a recommendation that office staff ask for updated contact information when appts are made and start using email to contact patients. We will be searching for a new office.

Dr. Shabazz and her team should be the model of how a business should be run. From the front office, Silver is always so welcoming and helpful. Nurse Tammy is always warm and comforting. Dr. Shabazz is delightful and very knowledgeable. I trust her which is very important to me. I’m so satisfied with the services I’ve received and will continue to be a patient of Dr. Shabazz’s.
