Visit was fast and I received great care. I would recommend the CareClinic.

I wish I had read these reviews beforehand. I went in to CareClinic today. I called beforehand to make sure I could be seen with my insurance and what I was there for. As I began to explain to the PA why I was there, I was immediately turned away and told to go to another urgent care in case I needed fluids. When I tried to elaborate on what my symptoms were and that I've had no problems with fluids she began opening the door to the waiting room, assuring me that I would not be staying.

I went to the Care Clinic and I felt that I had to argue with the provider the whole time. She kept saying that I should have gone to the Urgent Care. I have had asthma for 20 years and needed my normal medications to treat this chronic condition. I could not get a same day appointment with my PCP and my condition did not warrant an urgent care visit. Plus, I live in Renton and all of the Urgent Cares are not in close proximity. She finally agreed to order a medication that I needed for my sick day plan. I have contacted KP customer service and have not had an update on the situation. Also, she did not assess my condition correctly and had many errors in her documentation. I would not recommend this clinic.

I recently returned from an overseas trip with an upper respiratory infection that had persisted for over two weeks. The PA at the kaiser clinic was less than helpful. I let her know my symptoms (including coughing up dark green and brown sputum for several days.) In a condescending way she tried to tell me that my symptoms were absolutely NOT bacterial and when I tried to explore the symptom differences between a bacterial and viral infection with her (I am a nurse) she said "I don't want to argue with you. I don't see any indication of a bacterial infection." Then she smirked and said "I am NOT withholding medications from you, ok?" She was very rude and condescending to me with her tone. I paid 30 for the visit and all she gave me was a prescription for cough medicine. So I made an appointment with my regular physician a few days later who gave me a prescription for antibiotics, which I desperately needed at that point due to massive inflammation in my trachea and throat. The antibiotics immediately helped to relieve my symptoms, which had been getting worse for three weeks. I understand that physicians have been over prescribing antibiotics in the past and that there is a push to rein that in more recently, but sometimes antibiotics REALLY ARE needed, as was the case with me this time. The worst part is that I feel that she didn't respect me, wouldn't listen and shut me down when I tried to discuss it with her, by saying, "I don't want to argue with you," which by her tone meant "I am the doctor, not you, it's not open for discussion." Not happy with that PA at all.

I went twice, for a upper respiratory infection, and it's been fast and the PA helped me get the proper meds for my illness. She is nice and breaks it down for you, Idk what everyone else is complaining about. It's a triage clinic,if you want something more in depth go to your PCP.

Ed Tinker is correct. The Black woman PA for this clinic is absolutely the definition of rude. Insulted my family and myself directly. Second appt here with her and she has Undermined my problems that have lasted 2 months. Nothing more than an asthma inhaler. I have made formal complaints to the store manager and will not stop until she changes her attitude or is terminated from Kaiser Care Clinic.

So impressed, super friendly & direct staff got me in and out with proper meds in 15 min! No one was ahead of me so that helps, but they are on top of things no BS here.
