Back in March of this year I sustained a spontaneous patellar dislocation that ended with a patellar fracture requiring an ORIF and ligament reconstruction. I needed two surgeries to repair my injuires. To complicate things even more, I was a first time mom and my baby was just 5 weeks old at the time of my injury. Moreover, it was during the beginning of the COVID pandemic. The original surgery center that I was referred to was closed so I had to find a new orthopedic surgeon to see me. Long story short, I decided to seek medical care with Proliance Orthopedics and got Dr. Huang as my surgeon. While I was under his care (a little over 5 months time) he took the time to figure out the risk factors I had that could have caused such a spontaneous injury. He also researched the types of surgeries that would give me the best outcome in the long run. He discussed and reviewed all the surgical options with my husband and I in detail. He was always compassionate, professional, and personable. My husband and I had every confidence in his recommendation and expertise. We really felt like he was a confidant and looked out for our well being. Dr. Huang truly cares about his patients. He works hard to ensure that his patients are part of the decision making process. He also thinks about how the surgery could affect his patients in the long run. He doesn’t look for “easy or quick” fixes, he tries to do the best possible option. That was something that my husband and I really appreciated and respected about him. He’s a great surgeon and we would refer anyone we know to him.

I am extremely happy with the outcome of the arthroscopic knee surgery that I had to alleviate pain from lateral tears in my medial meniscus. I went from limping with medium pain before the surgery to being able to walk up and down stairs the day after surgery with no pain. After 6 weeks I can windsurf, off road motorcycle and bicycling with no pain. I never needed any pain medication. Dr Huang is truly amazing!

I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr Huang for 15 plus years. I first accompanied my mother to all of her appointments with Dr Huang and was thoroughly impressed with his skills and compassion. When i needed a physician for my own knee problems I did not hesitate to see Dr Huang. Beginning with Cortisone shots and ending with full replacements of both knees. Dr Huang is my hero, both surgeries were incredibly easy and most important Dr Huang gave me my LIFE BACK. I will be forever great full to him. I will be 70 in a few months and my legs feel better than they have in over 10 years. I am filled with energy and pain free! Thank you Dr Huang and your entire staff.
