Went here due to gastroenteritis (per Todd, the PA-C). The place was well coordinated Covid-19-wise. A screener was there to take in information about me such as my demographics and symptoms. After hearing I might have been probably "contagious", she ushered me into a room which was nice because I really wanted to sit down. After which, someone came in to continue what she was doing and that person was also kind enough to give me water. The medical assistant came and did the rooming per usual. She was really nice and had excellent bedside manner. Todd came in (the PA-C) and did all his work (ROS, abdominal exams, etc.) and he did excellent! He has great humor too which made my visit more comfortable, thanks to him. He wanted to get a urine and blood sample (which I already expected) and I obliged. Now, here's the 2-star ding, management. First, as part of UW, it is sad to see medical assistants with their multi-colored and glittery nail polishes (even though they look really pretty) and slightly longer nails. It looks unprofessional (and you all know infection control). Their fake lashes are too thick and fake - my mom told me she thought she was in a strip club (jokingly). I got poked 4 times for my blood draw with the last poke because the needle came out and it had to obviously get reinserted. Despite all the fishing, I am fine with that. Yes, my one arm is a bit swollen and bruised. But, the second star that I took out is because of the second MA who was the one able to draw the blood. She did not gel-in nor gel-out. Overall, I would probably try a different urgent care.

I have been waiting for 2 hours...seems the provider forgot about me.No professionalism after I pointed out I was waiting, no apology from anyone. Uw medicine can do much better.
My wife went in to receive a routine TB test before starting her new job and the lab technician service could not have been any worse. She was unable to find her vein in both arms and stabbed her multiple times trying over and over while saying out loud “I can’t do it” and “it’s not working”. She threw away multiple samples after saying “not enough blood”. She even accused my wife of having TB and said She should be in treatment and asked her why she was there getting tested. When we let the front desk know how terrible the experience was, we didn’t even need to tell them which technician it was, they instantly said “we know who helped you and will talk to them”. The doctor my wife saw was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend her. However lab work... it’s best to go ANYWHERE else....
The nursing staff was so kind and professional and the front desk was welcoming but what really put the icing on the cake was Dr Russell. He was amazing with my son; making face and playing while we talked to keep him comfortable and happy. He was very knowledgeable and informative and made me feel comfortable and assured too! Wish he was primary care for sure! If you go here and get Dr Russell you are in for amazing care!
Wow! I don’t expect a lot from urgent care, but every person I encountered today was kind, clear, intelligent, thorough, and reassuring, all while listening and explaining everything. COVID precautions were on point. Highly recommend.
My grand daughter who is 17 months had a very bad rash from head to toe. Dr. Russell was compassionate and gentle. He sang to her while he was assessing her. The staff was very friendly and got us seen right away.
Kind, professional people and very efficient. Best urgent care experience I've had.
4/2/2021 I drove to see a Dr and the place was closed what is up with that. Glad I was not that sick.
