I concur with the other reviewers. I used Randy briefly, after my neighbors recommended him. My account was quickly assigned to an inexperienced associate and the investments quickly lost money. I closed the account after a year and moved to Vanguard. Since then, my investments have more than doubled. I was locked into a REIT with Ameriprise that has since dropped 50%. I would highly recommend Vanguard market fuds, they are significantly better and more liquid than anything Ameriprise will put you in.

As our advisor in 2010, Mr. Linde strongly suggested a REIT that he predicted would likely be dissolved in a few years but was a safer investment that would pay a dividend and appreciate in value. I have lost over 60% to date in the otherwise rising REIT Market and I can't get out. As uneducated as I am, all my own investment choices did much better.
