I had a great experience today at Renton Family Practice. I was in for a vaccine, first time patient. The waiting room was never over crowded, front desk and providers were knowledgeable and efficient. They had the check in, intake, and vaccine administration down to a science. I also liked that they had a little waiting space (with a snack!) to hang out in for 10 minutes after the vaccine to make sure patients are good to drive after their appointment. I've never had any reactions to vaccines, but friend of mine did once and if she'd had a space to hang out in for a few minutes she wouldn't have fainted in a parking lot! Highly recommend.

Came to the clinic because it was listed on the DOH website as a covid vaccine provider and was seemingly more convenient. Was surprised when I arrived at the office to hear I needed to have a teledoc visit prior to receiving my vaccine. The front staff and nurse were fine but just be aware of this extra fee if you are looking to receive your vaccine here. Maybe best to just go to one of the big hospital/clinic/drive thrus so you are not charged for this extra “service”

This place is AWESOME! I needed a medication refill and forgot that Kent was closed on Friday’s. I called Renton and without any hesitation they were able to help. That is great patient care. Dr. Andersen over at Kent is my primary and he is fantastic! I’m impressed with how he runs his business!!

I’ve been to Renton Family Practice three times. The providers I saw Jessica and Vanessa, were great, but the front desk staff/MA’s seem to be disorganized. My last visit isn’t even listed in patient fusion and my labs are still not available from that visit. Probably won’t be going back since they decided to move Jessica to Orting...and the administrative staff haven’t notified me about that either.
