It was a pleasure to meet and hire S and M Painting to paint the exterior of our home and detached garage. The estimate process was fast and easy and their work was efficient and detail-oriented. We had four painting bids and we chose them because of the combination of cost, demeanor and availability. We have cedar shingle-siding and they took extra time and attention to prepare the surfaces for longevity. Steve and Melanie were awesome to work with and all around nice people!

I am very happy with the painting done By Steve and Melanie. I hired them to paint My kitchen cabinets. They did such a good job I hired them back to do the trim on my Townhouse. My little place looks brand new! They are fast and affordable and quality Work. I highly recommend!!!
I would highly recommend S and M painting. They painted the outside of my house and it looks amazing. They were great to work with, very professional and reasonably priced. I can't get over how good my house looks now.
Steve and Melanie are great! They are attentive to detail and aim to provide you the custom job you want. Most importantly, they show up on the days they say they will be at your house to work. At a time in the Seattle area where growth and money dictate when a consumer can partner with trade professionals, these two are the best I have seen in years. Their technique is about a 3-4 day process for a smaller to mid size homes. They first come to power wash the home. The home is then allowed to dry for a day or so (I have to say, our house even look 1000% better after that!). During this time, they meet with the paint professional from the paint company you select to make sure paint details are verified. Then they paint with a sprayer and backroll the paint. Afterwards, they come back on a final day to paint the trim, gutters, and other details. Our house looks amazing. The paint looks sleek and without weird looking spots or mess. Lastly, they followed up with a personal note on our front door to make sure we were happy. They let us know that they would fix anything to make sure we were happy if there were issues. Bottom line - they are a solid professional outfit. I would recommend them for your home.
Steve and Melanie did a fantastic job on my house, From the beginning to end. Talk about dedication . They showed up early for the initial consultation meeting. Perfect communication with prompt emails and texts explaining the type of paint that I need and the cost. They started the job on a day that was perfect for me. Unfortunately the days they picked was the day it was close to 90 . Low and behold they were out there painting away ! Knowing that they could have gotten heatstroke but still continued to do a great job! Job is complete and four days ! My neighbors Complimented on how nice the house Looks what a beautiful job they did . I highly recommend STEVE and MELANIE the owners of S and M painting !! You will not be disappointed !
