My experience since I arrived was fantastic, the staff is super nice, welcoming and you feel cared for. The food is delicious and they cater do your dietary needs. The case manager Jorge is wonderful and very helpful. The facility’s are clean and well kept. My counselor Abbey has been so helpful with my recovery and very well trained for my situation. Also very caring. I would recommend this facility to everyone who is looking for help and guidance. This place has changed my life for the better. I’m forever grateful!

My experience was great when I first arrived at the discovery house. I felt everyone was caring and genuine. The staff was good, they were always available when I needed to talk or vent about something going on. The food was great. The counselors were honest and told me what I didn't want to hear in order to see the role i played in my own problems. I am grateful that they will help me once i leave here to continue treatment. Importantly, Jorge case management has helped me resolved my legal issues with two different counties. I am grateful for that as well.
The staff and counselors here are great. You have one on one sessions . this place has helped change my life. Kerry is my counselor and is great. The food here is excellent. We go on outings, you can call your family at any time. It has ultimately gave me the resources to live a sober and healthy fulfilling lifestyle.
compared to malibu, this place is great and not a show. I was greeted with the upmost respect by staff and clients. My paperwork was done the second day I was here and now I don't have to worry about outside matters and concentrate on myself. the food is great, its like if my mom here cooking for me. Staff are nice and non judgmental and down to earth. overall, I rather be here near the hood than to be at the beach not looking into myself.
My experience at The Discovery House has been welcoming, comforting and extremely safe. The counselors, staff, and the nurses care about my well being and my safety. I thank you The Discovery House for providing me the excellence level of care and watching over me during my time of need.
