I moved here a week ago from out of town. When I arrived at the apartment it was missing a room compared to the floor plan discussed and visible on their website. They said that it was a bug on their website that shows the apartment I selected has a completely different floor plan (we also spoke confirming this floor-plan would have a study before signing the lease remotely). I thought this would be an easy fix, but and they didn't have any available 1 br with a study available AND were unwilling to put me in touch with management to discuss this issue and options. Other than getting a totally different apartment than I agreed to, the complex is nice :).

This place is INFESTED with fruit flies. Management is trying to cover up the problem and refuses to do anything about it. Don't live here unless you want tons of bugs that have been in the building's sewers crawling on your food, face, and all over your apartment.
I moved from DC about 6 months ago, and this has been a great experience. Unbeatable location- it's great to be able to do so much in walking distance. My.building is more quiet than I first expected. With Whole Foods downstairs, I like like I have my own massive refrigerator and wine supply. And, the staff made selecting and moving into my place easy and efficient.
We moved in a year ago and the only time we didn’t have issues were the first month or so. Since moving in we have experienced paper thin walls where we can hear our neighbors do literally everything. We have experienced theft in our storage unit. We were displaced from our apartment for a full week while construction drilled through our apartment to fix something they had only built a few months before (and while they were there they broke a cabinet that has yet to be replaced). We constantly get harassed by solicitors and homeless people if we venture out, and have been listening to construction for almost the entire time we have lived her. In our resident app multiple residents a day are posting about missing packages, things are getting stolen from front doors, homeless people are walking in and using peoples showers and management doesn’t know how or doesn’t care enough to do anything actually substantial about any issues. They only give you one parking spot so if you have a significant other have fun figuring that out. The dog parks are not maintained or done at a bare minimum, dogs regularly poop in the hallways. Everything was built to look pretty but ultimately it’s not good construction (we had water leak into our apartment multiple times from our patio) it’s all just a mess. Worst decision I ever made honestly.
We've lived at Residences at Saltillo for over a year now and it's been everything we hoped for. We were the first tenants in a brand new unit and haven't had any issues at all. Super walkable neighborhood with access to restaurants, coffee, bars, retail, and convenience like Target and Whole Foods. The pool scene is laid back and never too rowdy, even during the hottest summer days. Lady Bird Lake is also a short drive or 10 minute run to the trail. I honestly love this place and have had such a great experience as someone who moved from out of state and wanted to live right in the mix between downtown and the east side. I also have to say that the staff and property management group have been amazing and super accommodating when our household fell on hard times due to COVID this summer and we are incredibly greatly for that. I highly recommend if you are looking in this neighborhood.
