They were referred by my lender, and quoted me DOUBLE the title closing cost on my settlement sheet. Thousands more - WAY out of line. Even after I called them out, they \cut me a break\ by knocking 100 off. Avoid these crooks. They're making a killing by fleecing unsuspecting homeowners. Don't fall for this garbage. Shop around and get 4-5 quotes before you make a decision. My good deed for the day is done.

I have had an extremely poor experience with Residential Title & Escrow in Owings Mills. While I typically would not post a negative rating, I feel it is my duty to warn others in this case. Your home purchase is a big deal and one should ensure understanding of all the items beings charged at closing. As a buyer of a DR Horton home, financing through their mortgage company, they funneled me to this title company. The company significantly over-estimated funds needed to escrow for a \levy\ charge related to when a property is improved. I flagged it prior to settlement but they would not remove. Taxes were already being impounded for the mortgage company based on the full value of the property. This has led to the company holding almost 2k of my funds that they are now unresponsive regarding when I will get it back. It has now been 6 months! Beware...they will not respond to inquiries after your settlement. It takes weeks to get any type of response. Not to mention their offices are uncomfortably small. Many other great title companies out there, avoid this one if you can.
