Always a wonderful experience here in Leith. Truly outstanding and consistently brilliant cooking shown on wonderful, whimsical plates that taste better than they look... An exceptional team back of house which are professional, personal yet unobtrusive. Some absolutely delicious wines today, possibly next level stuff but at a more than reasonable price point. Good wine like this is often fraught with danger to order when you're not in the know. Struggle to find fault here after being a sporadic regular for almost a decade. If you haven't been you're missing out. If you have, then you already agree with me and have no need for this review. Get along as the new menu starts tonight! A perfect reason to return for lunch tomorrow.

We had the set lunch menu which is limited to 2 choices per course with cheese as an add on, bread is served, an amuse bouchée and sweets to finish. We had all the menu, so that we could try everything and is was excellent and served as well as you would expect in such a place. It has 16 tables and only 3 were empty when we went on a summer Thursday so book. Edinburgh beer company beers if you ask.

Another very special meal at Martin Wishart. Fantastic seasonal cookery. Great service. Nice ambiance, although a little unusual just now with covid restrictions. Best fine dining restaurant in Edinburgh.

I had eight courses here. But the best thing is the ice cream. Disappointed. If this restaurant come to London, it will definitely close within a month. SAVE 110 AND BUY A TICKET TO LONDON.
