One of my favorite restaurants in Basel. Great food and wonderful patio in the countryside. Walk, bike or drive here for a meal or drink. Not to be missed.

Very nice , lovely inn/country pub/restaurant type setting with a very rural feel to it, situated in pure countryside surrounded by Fields and yet a merefew 100m away from the borders of the Basel City Canton. They also have a well sized lovely collection of pet and farm animals in the back which will delight children. It is a great way to see near suburban Swiss countryside and some local population. Facilities there are good and include outside Terrace dining. Try their fruit tarts.
