The best ' pulpo a feira ' ever in Marbella
like
A good friend recommended this place for dinner. When we arrived around 9:30pm they asked if we had reservations although it was completely empty. They sat us outside which looked beautiful. We did not get her name but our server was an older woman with very short hair. We wanted the beef they ran out they only had the one for two. When my husband asked if they could offer for one she said “what does it say below in the menu” basically implying he could not read. We had already ordered wine and appetizers by that point so we stayed. Then our other guests was asking about paella and another seafood dish. She basically implied our guest was stupid for asking because one had nothing to do with the other. If someone is visiting your country and not familiar with the food isn’t it your responsibility to kindly educate your visitors? I ended up ordering chicken, my friend had salmon and our husbands had soup and salad. We did not want to spend another dime here. What a shame we wasted a beautiful night at this establishment with all the other marvelous options in this area. We had been in Paris the week before and every night we had amazing meals and service. Up until last night Spain was the same. Save your money and don’t ruin your night coming here!
Excellent, The fillet steak was so tender that we cooked on the stone, and the wine equally , complementary, Service was attentive and friendly. We would certainly recommend this Restaurant to our friends and clients
Been here a few times previously, in my opinion it appears the management has changed. The food has unfortunately gone downhill. The lamb chops had barely any meat to feed your anorexic dog, fish was decent but way way overpriced, and the spring lamb smelt like guinea fowl. A shame as this place was previously a good spot.
In general not really good place to eat and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've had an "entrecot" and I asked to make it medium-well but I got almost raw piece of meat. Not only it was thrusting with blood but was really tough and chewy. Also the taste was kind of sour which was weird. Beside of that we were charged for "cubiertos y manteler" which stands for "cutlery and table linen" - really odd. Wouldn't recommend.
This place was right near our vacation rental, and being a son of Galician parents i just needed to try it. Expectations were low because I visit Galicia every summer and I know what great sea food taste like. To my surprise, I was blown away on how amazing everything tastes. Pulpo was beyond amazing and the paella was hands down the best I have ever had. Service was great too as they offered coffee even after they closed. I will definitely be visiting this establishment on my next trip to Marbella!
One if the Paellas was so salty it was inedible. The black paella was slightly better but still heavy on the salt. However there was a big group of us and the service was still very good.
Please RUN AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. The worst ever service experience.. the waiter was very rude..he spoilt the athmosphere...the food extremely bad ..I do not recommend..please save you time and protect your stomach.
