3/11/21 2:00 p.m. Food was terrific as always but it will be a long time before we go back, if ever. Covid restrictions are everywhere; the soda dispenser is shut down, the order pencils are separated into cups marked "dirty" and "clean", the young ladies are wearing gloves, etc. Enter the young man (with his baseball hat on backwards and a wrinkled polo shirt for the purposes of ID) with his mask pulled down well over his chin so he can accommodate chewing on a toothpick. He was parading back and forth where all the food is laid out without a care in the world. Obviously, he is of the opnion he looked cool doing so. Not so much. We will give this location a rest until someone learns to practice his dental hygiene elsewhere! Too bad as the food is good but who knows what is being included in it with this clueless clown behind the counter?

10 for a salad with 4 toppings. I don't know I rather eat fast food else where or get potbelly. I don't like the bread that comes with it and u can't substitute it for anything. Worst part is I didn't want bread on it since I am trying to eat gluten free and this touched my food. Was not even asked if I wanted bread. I wish u can substitute it for an extra salad topping. Young office worker crowd here,looks like a group of healthy people, well dressed. Food is good but salad dressing is meh( my life would be better without it; I did not have any dressing-yes that bad in the opinion of my tough palette), I had the lemon vinaigrette and it tastes like it came out of a large tub where the consistency is thick and slimy. Good to try once but I rather have dressings out of a bottle if I had a choice of the two. - adjusted review, I went and tried another dressing since I really didn't like my lemon vinaigrette, here I tried house Dijon. Expecting it to be yellow.... it was pink!!!!? Why? Taste remind me of dressing in old cafeteria that comes out of a pump tub...color reminds me of cheap soap that comes out of public restroom dispensers.....
I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich on ciabatta, from their standard menu. There was no line, and i could see the care and attention paid to my order. I ordered my sandwich to go, as Covid has made me wary of dining indoors. I have to say, the sandwich was delicious and filling. I really want to go back and try other menu items.
The Brown Bag in Reston is my favorite stop for breakfast. The owner runs a great business. When our office was in DC I used to go to the Brown Bag there and this one is just as good. I absolutely love the Greek Omelette, home fries and the American Favorite. Also love the bacon (perhaps the most). They have a great lunch too. Thanks for having this great restaurant so close to my work! Great and friendly staff too who are always smiling!
Brown bag is the closest place for me to get food at work. It helps that their ingredients are fresh. I'm curious how Asian noodles taste but I'm also not willing to order them if the cook ain't Asian lol breakfast, lunch, coffee, snacks all good. Check the pics!
I ordered the Mediterranean Grain Bowl. It tasted good and felt healthy but I probably wouldn’t get it again. While baked falafel is more healthy than fried, they’re dry. I should have checked off grape tomatoes and lemon squeeze but it is my first time here, so I didn’t know. More tomatoes would have been better. My husband said the same about his El Camino Grain Bowl. I like that reusable forks and knives are available for those who are dining in. It would have been nice if my meal had been prepared in a reusable bowl (that I see at the table next to me) but maybe that’s something you have to ask for...? There’s free wifi but you have to enter an email address.
Sandwiches are fine but bowls are more worth it. Love the food. Nice and simple once you understand how to order. You don't just approach the register. First go to the front of the kitchen staff and fill out your order on paper. Then hand your order either to the sandwich staff or salad staff depending on what you want.
Very quick and easy to order online and pick up. Good salads
