I've never been a big for chain type restaurants, however, I stopped by this location for a quick dinner before the Redskins game. My friend and I were seated at a table close to the bar area. I have to say that the total Chili's makeover has turned out really well. I don't think that the menu hasn't changed that much, but they have made the entire restaurant experience feel more friendly and family-oriented. There are a lot of flat-screen TVs and the restaurant lighting and seating areas are laid out very nice. The service was fast and efficient and our Waitress was super friendly. One thing is for sure, your drink is never empty.

The Reston Chili's is poorly designed in my view. There is a tile floor, the walls in the seating area are all pony walls, so there is nothing to dampen sound. At 50% full, it is so noisy that you cannot hear anything. The menu looked like Denny's for all the world, but with spicier foods. Kathy and I shared the Potato Skins starter, moderately OK, and we both had the House Salad/Chili combo. My logic was, if the name of the establishment is Chili's the Chili must be good, sorry, no. The winelist was Barefoot cellars and I could not bring myself to drink bottom shelf wine ( you have to walk the calories off regardless). So we had water. Our glasses were not rapidly refilled, but the staff did get around to it. At least it was cheap, bill before tip was 26.22
Dear, lord. Don't do it to yourself. This place is pitiful. The decor is straight up 90's and the crowd is all about getting engorged with less than crappy food or straight up drunk. Expect the local 25 year old boys to be in full effect.
Good place
Love it
Service is usually good but it is still boring Chili's
