My husband suffered an infection (MRSA) in his sternum...this was the 8th such infection in 7 years...each time requiring surgery. We went to GUH ER . Every person in that unit spoke very highly of Dr. Margolis. We were so happy when the doctor himself examined by husband the next day. He performed surgery and my husband is now recuperating well. We wish we could give this doctor more than 5 stars! He was superb, not only in his profession, but also in the manner he treats his patients. He was kind, patient in answering our questions, and treated us with utmost respect. He is highly respected and highly sought after. If you require any kind of surgery in the thoracic area, you will be very fortunate to have him take care of you. We have been dealing with numerous doctors over the past several years. Dr. Margolis is simply one of the very best. Thanks also to Margaret Hamm (CRNP), his able assistant who has been most helpful during our visits to the clinic and also in all follow up matters. Dr. Adam Reese, part of Dr. Margolis' team did a wonderful job is aspirating the infected area a couple of days prior to surgery. Our appreciation to the entire team of nurses on the 2nd floor (Intermediate Care Unit). They were simply wonderful, caring people.
