Always a tasty and delicious meal. Staff are lovely, great service and atmosphere is very welcoming. Will always support the managers of this pub as they do an amazing job. Can't wait for my next visit.

We were unavoidably late, but it was handled very well over the phone. Steak and ribs were absolutely delicious and packed with flavour. Lots of tasty sauce! It was so good and very filling. Generous portions, although the others asked for a second portion of the delicious chips. The steak and ale pie looked small in comparison to the steak and ribs. I was told it tasted good but my other half would've liked a bigger portion. Good amount of gravy. We didn't do dessert. I'm a bit awkward with desserts and couldn't find anything I liked. The others chose not to have any. Friendly young lady serving us was very pleasant and made us feel welcome.

Called in for an impromptu drink and ended up having dinner. It was a beautiful place with good ambience, great staff and lovely food. Reasonably priced too. What is great about this place is the music in the background is inobtrusive and there is a real home feel to the place. Only thing missing would be a few cushions missing on the wall seats and it would be a home from home. Pay them a visit it is definitely worth it.

A good place to stop off at on the motorway, instead of the busy service stations. It is a large pub with plenty of seating and friendly staff. They take good care to follow covid-19 precautions, using track and trace and making everyone hand sanitise when they come in. The pub is situated next to a canal which is nice to place to sit in the sun. The food is a good price but it is quite basic.

I am so glad this eatery has reopened! My friend and I booked a time-slot and stopped off for a delightful two-course dinner halfway through our 50 mile cycle. The sunny weather was matched with shining customer service. With calamari rings to start, the salmon salad and a side of garlic ciabatta for the main; I was not disappointed. We felt safe, and social distancing measures were both observed, and actively encouraged. Thank you to everyone there, we will keep coming back.
